Book club is turning out to become the event of the week. Last week we had Bingo Book Club and the time was just flying past. Every time the children filled a line, they either got two or three biscuits it was fun just watching them. Simply... Fantastic!
This week we had a visit from MC and Megan from the Catamaran Amelie IV. They had prepared a little puppet show for the children and Chloe and the Bear from Canada were a roaring success. Thank you MC and Megan for your time you certainly made the kids smile with laughter. However we are not only having fun at book club, no we are also serious learners. Michelle from Jade had prepared poems to read and share. We read along, we played Charade to one Poem and Paula tried to help us memorize a Poem by playing the flute while we all sang along. There was heaps more that involved Ted and Robert reading a story that they written themselves and other games that help our children to learn in a creative way while having fun. Wow, I bow to all the Mums that stepped up to be creative and involved in our children's learning, we have anchored and landed in an amazing sailing Community.
