Playdough keeps young and old creative ...

Book club for children in Grenada is going strong. Last Friday I counted 16 children that come with a big smile to our weekly meetings, where we not only read and play spelling games, but also encourage creativity and teamwork. We have been... reading a lovely story about a fox that each time she learned a lesson she would grow a new tail. "9 Tales of 9 Tails" . Nearly all of the children loved the story and when we got together on Friday we read a chapter together, answered questions, played hangman and then we divided the children into two teams, to recreate the story with Play dough. The night before we had made a few batches of Play dough and it was amazing to see that no matter what age they all liked to dig their hands into it. The amazing brains were steaming off ideas and it was interesting to see how different each team approached their work. On one side we had the construction side, infrastructure first and getting into details later, on the other table we had the artist paying attention to details first and then got their head around the bigger picture. Loved watching and observing how they each achieved their goal in the end in their own way. Well done guys you are all awesome and super magical divine shining angels on this earth. Love you all!!
