Last Monday we took the ferry over to St. Vincent. We have never visited this Island and I had heard that the shopping is great and reasonable. I was desperate for something exciting to fill our cupboard with for Xmas. When we came into St.... Vincent we were met by the Cruise Ship Aida, which was packed with Germans. We found what we looked for - Carlos some sugar for our Xmas baking, Sven some Kiwi polish crème for our Jandals and I found Marzipan from Dr. Oetker ...Yeahhhh. Now there is no excuse anymore...let the cookies roll out of the oven...delicious. We hired a Taxi to bring us to a resort that overlooked Young Island. Here we spent the rest of the afternoon with Creme Brule, chocolate icecream and cheese cake before we took the Ferry back into the Sunset of Bequia. On our way back to the Ferry we had the rare opportunity to view the cruise ship from the top...wow..what a sight. We were joined on this trip by Bjoern from SV/ Tauranga and we all had an awesome trip.
